We provided Web Design & Development services to Salt Venture, creating a responsive and visually appealing website. The challenge

A venture firm's website is read by two audiences who want opposite things. Founders are working out whether this investor is right for them and whether they will be treated well. Prospective investors are assessing judgement and track record. Salt Ventures needed one site that answered both without diluting into a brochure that says nothing to either.

The approach

We led with the portfolio, because in venture the companies are the argument. The layout gives each investment enough room to be understood rather than reduced to a logo, and the firm's focus and approach sit where a founder looks first. Built responsive and kept deliberately restrained, on the grounds that a capital allocator's site should look considered rather than loud.
