Most agencies make you book a call to find out whether you can afford them. These are the real ranges. They are ranges rather than prices because a brochure site and a web application are not the same number and never will be.

What moves the number
Four things, and none of them is page count.
How much of it is new
Replacing a site whose content and structure already work is a different job from deciding what the pages should be. The second one is where the hours go.
Who edits it afterwards
A site your team publishes to weekly needs an editing interface built and documented. A site that changes twice a year does not, and paying for one is waste.
How many systems it touches
Payments, tax, shipping, a CRM, a booking calendar, an internal database. Each integration is real work, and each one is a thing that can break later.
Whether the content exists
The most common cause of a project running long is not development. It is waiting for copy, images, access and feedback.
Questions
- Are these quotes?
- No. They are what comparable projects have actually come to. The figure for yours comes out of a conversation about scope, and once it is in a proposal it is fixed: the number in the proposal is the number on the invoice.
- Why are you cheaper than a Berlin or Amsterdam agency?
- Because the engineering team is in Patna while the people you talk to are in Budapest. We would rather tell you that at the start than let you work it out from an invoice. It is the whole reason the rate is what it is.
- What is the smallest project you take?
- There is a €1,000 minimum. Below that you are better served by a template configured properly, and we will say so rather than take the work.
- What is not included?
- Copywriting beyond loading what you supply, photography, video and illustration, paid media budget, and third-party licences or subscriptions. Each service page lists its own exclusions in full.
- Does a change of scope change the price?
- Yes, and it gets quoted before anyone starts building it. A change nobody priced is how a fixed-price project stops being fixed.
